A two way Communication..

You make hundreds of choices every day, you choose whether and what to eat, what to say, how to see and interpret your world.  Many of these choices are made subconsciously that you don’t even realize you’re doing it. Then there are bigger choices like whether to get married or divorced, leave your job, have kids, make a big move, and pursue your passions.

When you’re dealing with an issue, you probably handle it in one of two ways: you ask everyone for their advice on the matter, or you listen to your intuition before you make a decision. Are your heart and brain in sync? Is it possible that our hearts communicate with our brains? The answer is yes. There’s a conversation taking place between your heart and brain every day that impacts every aspect of your life. Our hearts and brains are constantly sending signals to the other, which causes the thoughts and emotions we experience. When we feel negative emotions such as anger or jealousy, our hearts send a signal to our brains that reflects the emotion. When we experience uplifting emotions such as appreciation, joy, care, and love; our heart rhythm pattern becomes highly ordered.

Intuition can come in many forms. Your intuition talks to you when you are less busy, when you sleep, when you take your mind off what you are seeking. When your intuition tries to communicate with you, it may try to get your attention by forcing you to notice little patterns throughout your life.Your intuition is usually always there to guide you in the right direction, but sometimes you miss the signs or choose to ignore them.

We know instinctively our heart’s intuition yields the highest outcome. Your INSTINCT is there to help you survive, your INTUITION will sometimes try to fight against your fears of failure so you can make the right decision and go after your dreams. “Instinct and intuition are different”. Instinct is an automatic response that has to do with survival. Intuition is more evolved and focused on your highest good. For example, your instinct may be to stay at your job because it is safe and secure, while your intuition may guide you to leave your job and start your own business. When you listen to your intuition, you normally feel happy, but if you choose to ignore it, a wave of uneasiness may come over you. But if you are like me, you may have found at some point in your life that following what you thought was your heart got you into trouble !

So, which one will lead to more happiness, purpose, and fulfillment? The answer is both. Your heart and your head are like two advisers. They operate in different ways and speak different languages. Once you understand them, and know how to use their strengths, it will change the way you live. This is not about neglecting a part of you; you have a head and a heart for a reason. They both help in their own way. You don’t have to choose between your heart and your head.

For simple decisions, I would advise people to follow their heart, to go towards what will make them happy; for big decisions, it is always important to be more careful and use your head wisely more than your heart. It’s best to accept with a happy heart whatever the outcome is because you gave it your best. So yes, a blend of heart and head will lead you to the wisest most favorable decisions. Before you make any decisions, from very basic to life-changing, you must learn to pause. During that pause, consider whether the decision you’re about to make supports your highest values.
