MAKE IT HAPPEN !!!!!

Everyone loves a success story, and the world is filled with them. But, what about stories of failure? Can’t they be just as inspirational? Equally smart? After all, a single big win is often built on several losses!

What is it that we are most afraid of when we stay stuck in a job we hate, year after year? The answer is: we are most afraid of ‘Failing’. Going through a failure is a test of, your courage, your determination and your mind set .For some people, failure ruins them. For others, it is just the beginning of something wonderful. Failure, it is a word associated with such negative feeling, it is often linked with fear and anxiety. How many things that we take for granted would not exist if it were not for ‘failure?’ Take the light bulb for example; invented by Thomas Edison, whose famous quote “I have not failed 10,000 times—I’ve successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work” illustrates the power of failure beautifully…

Luckily for us, we live in a prosperous world, where there isn’t just one opportunity to do anything. There are always second chances. If you fail once, then try again. Just don’t be foolish enough to make the same mistakes again. Failure can be an efficient and sometimes harsh teacher.  It tells us a lot about what does work and what doesn’t. It allows us to understand the different conditions in which something will work and when it won’t work, as failure is not always an absolute.  In our careers, in our financial lives, and in our living goals, learning what NOT TO DO is just as important as learning what to do…Failure should be valued so that we do not just change old answers, but instead enjoy new and innovative ways of doings things. “When life knocks you down, try and land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up”!!

One of my friend, was so scared of being rejected by a girl he used to like the most that he couldn’t even bring himself to approach her. I suggested him to give a try to express his feeling, because you never know what’s going in the girl’s mind. There might be a possibility of she is having the same feeling but she is so shy to start the conversation, or even if you are rejected, you are just that  much closer to meeting the right person. Finally, they both ended up with regret because the girl also secretly loved him and was waiting for him to start. You should never leave an experience feeling a bit of regret or asking yourself, “what if…?” And trust me the feeling of regret is far worse than ANY rejection…

When you set high goals, you’re going to miss them sometimes. But progress is nonlinear, and it’s always in motion. Every year, thousands of people run in the New York City Marathon. A lot of them never finish, but that doesn’t mean that they failed. It means they ran 20 miles. Instead of focusing on the finish line, put your goals into perspective and realize that any step forward is a success in its own right. Even if your plan fails, it can still have an impact. By modifying it, you can make it successful, even if it isn’t what you originally intended…

Success takes time and effort. Yes, many times you will fail before you are successful. Failure happens—whether romantic, social, or professional—is scary, but it will pass. Obstacles are out there, they are meant to be overcome !!!

Live with it. Learn from it. It is not always reaching the destination that defines the person, but the journey that is taken to get there.
